Sterling Medical Svc LLC

After doing business with Sterling Medical Services, LLC of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for seven months they sent a bill with everything that the insurance company did not pay. It was dated July of 2008 and included everything from January 2008. In February 2009 they resent the bill and added an additional $175.00 from February of 2008 that was not on the bill sent in July of 2008. The original bill was from Sterling Medical Company and showed an address in Philadelphia while the second bill was from Moorestown, NJ address.
The first bill was actually a bill while the second appeared to be a copy of a bill with the top part; the part that had the explanation of what the numbers below were referring to, was missing. Seeing as this was only the second bill sent in thirteen months and was sent at our request the additional amount is suspicious at best. The date of service shows as 02/14/08 while the transaction date shows 08/18/08 the month after my wife retired from her job and we no longer had insurance with her previous employer so no longer ordered supplies from their list of suppliers. I will be filing with the BBB on this company.

Find another company to do business with: We dealt with a company that was local for the actual ordering of the medical supplies but when it came time to bill our secondary insurance they played dumb and just kept sending the remainder of the bill to us. Their customer service was Horrible. They kept giving us the run around and would not let us speak to a supervisor to try and clear things up. They were very unhelpful and downright RUDE. This is not the kind of attitude you need to deal with when your loved ones are sick. Find a different company to get your supplies from. It will save you time, money and peace of mind.
